How reservations will work:
- To book a room, you should reach out to the Guest Experience and Management Team at +39 339 285 3594 on WhatsApp. Please note that this is the only channel which will allow you to benefit from the special agreed rates.
- The discounted rates do not have an expiration date. However, rooms are on hold until March 31st, 2026. After the room block expires, availability will be subject to the hotel’s availability at the time of request.

Term of payment for guests:
- The hotel requires a credit card as a guarantee at the time of the booking and the 50% deposit (vat included) one month before - you will receive a secure link to pay the deposit a few days before the deadline.
- The remaining balance (vat included) will be required at the check-out.

Cancellation policy for guests:
- No penalty for cancellation communicated before 1 month prior to arrival.
- If cancellation is communicated between May 18th, 2026, and 72 hours prior to arrival, they will keep the paid deposit as penalty.
- For later cancellation they will apply 100% penalty.

Rates are per room, per night, inclusive of breakfast.
To be added: 10% VAT and city tax of Euro 8 per person per day.

- N. 5 Lugarno Doubles (classic rooms not overlooking the river): at a rate of Euro 780 + 10% VAT for single use or for double occupancy. In case of interest, we could check if they have availability of higher level of rooms overlooking the river.
- N. 1 Prestige rooms (superior overlooking the river): at the rate of Euro 1.150 + 10% VAT for single and double occupancy.
- N. 2 Deluxe rooms (overlooking the river): at the rate of Euro 1.250 + 10% VAT for single and double occupancy.
- N. 2 Studio Suite River view (Junior Suite overlooking the river): at the rate of Euro 1.400 + 10% VAT for single and double occupancy.

Check in time is after 3.00 PM and check out time is at 12.00 PM. Later departure or earlier check in can be arranged subject to a charge.

Parking: The Gallery Art Hotel does not have its own parking, but nearby garages are used, with a daily rate of around €50, with slight variations for large cars.
- Guests may reach the hotel by car, and the garage will manage their access to ensure they do not receive a fine.
- Guests may pass only through the permitted access points to reach the hotel by car. Driving in the city center or entering from other points is not allowed.
This is another reason why they provide, to those who request the garage, directions to reach the hotel, as GPS navigation can be a bit confusing within the ZTL.
- No reservation is required, but you have to inform the hotel and they will make a note of it in the booking.
- The rate includes the valet service.
- Please pay close attention to ZTL access, as some routes have priority lanes; in such cases, any fines will be the responsibility of the guest.
- The hotel colleagues and garage staff will be available to provide information.

How reservation will work:
- To check availability and receive negotiated rates, you should reach out to them at reservations@hotelcalimala.com specifying that you are part of Tarek and Laura's wedding by March 31st 2026. Availability will depend on the hotel's availability at the time of the request.

Terms of payment and cancellation policy:
- A valid credit card is required, to which the hotel will charge an amount equal to the first night for each room. You will pay for the stay directly at the property, and the pre-authorization amount will be released after your stay.
- Rooms can be cancelled free of charge up to 48 hours prior to check-in date. After this deadline, they will charge 100% of the total stay.

Please also note that the hotel is located within a Limited Traffic Zone (ZTL) and parking is not permitted for non-residents. For this reason, the hotel cooperates with a garage located a few minutes away, open daily from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m.  The daily garage rate is EUR 25.00 – 35.00 (depending on the size of the vehicle). This price includes valet service and registration of the vehicle’s license plate with the Municipal Police to avoid fines related to entering the ZTL.

Valet Parking Service: La Gemma is in the heart of Florence, within the Limited Traffic Zone (ZTL). They offer guests a valet parking service with a partner garage, and they will register the vehicle’s license plate with the Local Police for entry permission. The daily rate is €65.00 per night.
